Yuva Entrepreneurship Program: building a student entrepreneurship community in tier-2 cities

The goal wasn't one-off student sessions. It was to find young people with entrepreneurial potential, mostly from tier-2 cities, show them how startups really work, and help them move from awareness to entrepreneurial thinking and action.

Deshpande Startups: from social media to startup ecosystem communications

I didn't grow by specialising in one narrow function. Over six years I took on more of the work around the startup ecosystem: digital marketing, email, SEO, design, photography, media, events, lead generation and startup engagement. Moving between strategy and hands-on execution, often alongside early-stage teams, is what prepared me for cross-functional program and marketing roles.

B2B marketing, go-to-market and sales enablement

After Deshpande Startups I took my marketing into B2B. Two of these employers, Krishikalpa and LinkEZ, were organisations associated with the Deshpande Startups ecosystem; the others took me into SaaS, edtech and urban mobility. Across them I learned how marketing supports a sales team.
